 Member Since: May 13, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Saturday January 3, 2015 12:13 PM I failed completely on getting my Bloodcrushers done...but I will get them done...and I will start the new OLD pewter Skulltaker I got on FB... pretty cool to get ahold of one...better than dealing with that "finecast" crap from GW...I have already removed all the sprues from the guy...details aren't bad...and stoked to get something new...pretty much learned if I can have a couple of projects going I won't get bogged down on one...just get tired of looking at the same guys all the time... Wish life would get out of the way so I could get them done by now...hopefully I'll pull myself together and get them done by the 31st...Funny thing is I used January last year to do something ground breaking for me ...learned how to airbrushed flames and building a pretty cool heldrake...this time it's glazing...never really tried this at this level... |

Member Since: May 13, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Friday January 23, 2015 9:21 AM I bit of an update...not the best photo...but it will do to show the transition... started with that dark red from Minitaire, then ABed 50/50 mixture of brown and black wash.. then many layers of red glaze...then a full cover of red glaze...then the yellow GW glaze...many layers of it with highlighted areas..and so on... |
