So I am going to paint up these ogres and finish those slayers to boot. I also added a dwarf slayer command (musician and standard) that I am going to do up as well. |

Member Since: November 15, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Friday December 6, 2013 11:24 PM Well I finally had a little time tonight and got the basecoats and bases done. Took a tip from MiniGirl and used some leftover spices in the sand/ballast mix. My ogres, and my desk for that matter, smell like a combination of old dirt, all spice and dried chives. I guess I will need to come up with something even more exotic for my ogre maneaters seeing as they are so worldly. I am also going to try and get these gnoblars done. I started the conversions for one or two of their heads using diving helmets but I am not completely sold on the idea. I am doing a partial nautical-pirate theme for the whole army.  I am also still working on the dwarf slayers as I have time. Hopefully more this weekend. |

This was mostly because the starter box back then came with High Elves and Goblins. My friend wanted the Elves and I loved the idea of hallucinating Night Goblin Fanatics hurling themselves out of a unit toward an unsuspecting enemy. Ogres, at least to some degree, feed that same desire crush stuff. Actually they gorge that desire and then stomp on it some more. |
