So here are some pics I took while painting the lonely guy. I ended up stripping him two times after some failed tests. The two areas I was really focused on where the yellow armour and the blue plates for both of witch I veered off my usual painting method To start with a did a very very little conversion to bring the old metal Wraithguard closer to the new plastic kit: Next I worked on the yellow armour and the blue and black bits This is the (last) final result. It's the first time that I work heavily with glazes for highlighting and shadowing the model I'm not 100% happy about the final result but I learned a bit or two while painting (and re-painting) this model but I'm pleased about the yellow bits. Not so much about the blues ... |
