For the threat, I'm gonna commit to painting the resin models for the Wild West Exodus Lawmen faction that I got in the Kickstarter. This includes: * Wyatt Earp (2nd from left, front row) * Doc Holiday (1st left, front row) * Judge Sterns (3rd from left, front row) * Sheriff Mic Ironclad (far right, front row) * UR-30 Bot (3rd from left, rear row) Here's a pic of them primed, which is where they stand now (note, though, the 2 guys in robes, Dark Council, are actually almost done painting at the moment, and McClain (2nd from left in rear row) is also already done, so those 3 models are not part of my threat).  I also have 10 Hired Hands for Lawmen, but I'm not committing to them as part of the threat; they might wind up being a bonus, though, depending on time constraints. You can preorder stuff online directly from Outlaw Miniatures at www.wildwestexodus.com. Many smaller game stores may not have heard about them yet, as they won't be going through Alliance, ACD, etc. for distribution, but handling that themselves. |

I have gone through and done the mid and shadow for the whites on everyone but the Judge (he's going to get different colors). The UR-30 Bot got the white highlights and I've done his body the main steel color it's going to be. Planning on picking out some parts with brass, then adding some red glowy RJ-1027 power sources.My general paint scheme is based on a cartoon I loved as a kid.. the Galaxy Rangers! I think it does.   I'll probably gloss coat and do oil washes on the whole gang at once, simply because that part's easier that way. |
