I'm only a few in myself, but they're great fun and everyone is very supportive. Hope you have as much fun with your painting as I've had with mine. That's good progress, getting ready for painting can be tougher than painting a lot of the time. Good luck and look forward to seeing you progress! Not only is it a good way to get those minis out of the box and painted, but you can learn some new techniques too. For example, I never thought of using paper clips to hold the head of a mini i am piainting, I use paper clips to pin my minis, just never thought to use them to hold them too. There is plenty of time left in the month, so you should be ok, nice start on them too. Good luck.Sarge "If you ain't CAV, you ain't!!" |

Member Since: May 17, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Sunday January 12, 2014 9:04 PM I used that technique with a tactical squad I was working on for the bolters and melta plasma options since I was magnitizing them. I have used paper clips jusy straight to pin things on but I was like we if I just bend the bottom flat into a triangle i can just have it stand up and dry. Worked good on the heads too. Now I have to choose white vey helms or the yellow with the red stripe. |
