Member Since: October 12, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Tuesday January 14, 2014 6:41 PM My dragon suffered an accident when being dullcoated after the glaze....This is how it looked before the fall.... This is after the fall and subsequent handling that marred the paint and marked the previous work with different spots and #$%^&*... After many tries trying to glued the pieces back, I had to do take an extreme alternative... the brake on the wing did not have enough surface for it to stay, and the wings had to be pinned so it could hold the extra weight of my green stuff solution. Besides I had to brush repaint some of the airbrush blends to match the damaged areas. Here is the created solution.... I then reworked and sanded the green stuffed area to make it seem more like stuck cloth.... After it was dry, paint was added and black lining inserted to make it seem like cloth, but keep the anime feel of the piece. Here is the final result of work and rework: |
