Member Since: August 26, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Tuesday January 28, 2014 4:32 PM Hahahah just a lil crazy...I am fortunate to have a lot of time up my sleeve at the moment, I decided to put it into good use to clear some back log of unpainted miniatures that are forever building up. Tyranids do paint up relatively quickly though I must say!! Although I am going for a basic table top standard for the army, the way I have painted it will allow me to return to it and added a few extra layers to make it "pop" more |

Member Since: August 26, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday January 30, 2014 9:05 PM So as the last gaunt sits to dry, I can say I have completed my threat for this month!What started as a Hive tyrant and Tyranofex ended up being an entire 2000pt+ army, all in one month! Army shot (sans hormagaunts)  Exocrine, This was a mad last minute addition to the army, was put together and fully painted all in one evening! (magnetised head swap for Haruspex variant)  "Old one eye"  Zoanthropes  Gant blob, These were fun too paint... and I have another 80 in line to be painted :/  Sneaky Stealers,  Gargoyles  Quite happy with the way they have all turned out, but I do intend to return to these models and add a few highlight layers at a later date to bring a bit more to life (carapace armour ext) To celebrate completion, I'm taking them out to feast on some Imperial guard this evening, wish me luck! Will try and get somme nicer photo amongst some terrain tonight, will post up tomorrow |
