For me, these threats are a great way to learn, push myself and do so in a really supportive environment. I think I've been getting better, bit by bit...well when painting something blue anyway With the sword, I've had success with this - get some warm (like if it was tea or coffee you'd send it back) water. Soak for a few mins and bend back into shape and hold while it cools. If that doesn't work on the first go, slowly increment up the temperature of the water and you should get there. It worked for a StarTrek model of mine when the warp nacelle pylons were a bit bent. Keep going, I'm really looking forward to seeing this finished! I live pretty far from my LGS so its hard to get a game in. Especially balancing work and family. But this forum allows me to share my stuff and join in on the hobby discussions without leaving the house. BTW nice bases, I'm loving the gold and blood look. |

I've been working away for a few weeks and sadly haven't got a lot of WIP up!Here are my finished 5 BloodLetters to join the Herald (sorry for the iffy pictures) I have a few stages left to do on the other five but this looks totally doable!! I have noticed these can be a pain to rank up so I'll need to think about that more if I add to the unit.. Also, as I was a bit concerned about excessive uniformity I've been slightly varying the colours but it's pretty hard to tell on the photos. The Herald does look brighter though - I think just because I highlighted him up more from the same base colour! Thanks for stopping by! |

I'm pretty pleased with how it went, I really like the Herald now. I think next month I'll do some more Khorne fantasy stuff and a captain for my Ultramarines - they've been slumming with just a Librarian for ages.
