Yes they're painted now, but it's a full repaint so shush! ![]() I like them, but I want to redo them with softer camo (same colours). For that, I will be using my airbrush. YES, these will be my first full models to be attacked by my airbrush, and they're 15mm! Wish me luck ![]() [[Edited by PowerArmouredMetal on Wednesday February 5, 2014 10:50 AM]] [[Edited by PowerArmouredMetal on Saturday February 15, 2014 7:51 AM]] [[Edited by PowerArmouredMetal on Friday February 28, 2014 12:35 PM]] Power Armoured Metal: The Slash of 40k! Good luck with it this month and way to go using a new technique. Can't wait to see how you get on. RD PS - quick tip: Play-doh or anything like it makes a great mask for airbrushing cammo on anything, used it on a Leman Russ last year and I was really happy with the result. I'm adding my Bergepanzer III recovery vehicle to the threat too!![]() Here's an update: the tanks have been masked up (shown above). I have also re-base-coated them and sprayed a new layer of Middlestone on too (not shown). I think it may need another layer after that. Good news is that my paints are drying better, thanks to a combination of lower psi, extreme paint shaking, and a hair dryer ![]() Power Armoured Metal: The Slash of 40k! Free handing that with an airbrush isn't easy and you did a great job! I picked up a TAMIYA model Mi-24 HIND that's supposed to have that same cammo scheme. You got me opening the box now! I've also airbrushed a little black on the main cannons at the tips. Only things left to do are to repaint the MGs on the roof, paint the German crosses and tidy up the tracks. I also need to redo the stowage on the Bergepanzer ![]() Power Armoured Metal: The Slash of 40k!
