Then full coverage with VMA Aluminium, and highlighted with VMA Chrome. They'll eventually get an oil wash of a blue-black like the rest of my Cyriss models. The plan for the brass bits is base with VMA Rust Metallic (mainly because it covers really well and gives a dark base to work on again), base with VMC Brass, highlight with VMA Shiny Brass.I've found they will dull down a bit with varnish, so I usually use a satin coat on this much metal over matte coat. |
