I started yesterday on an old model that's been...well white for maybe two years! and she hasn't been happy about it! If i get it done fast and not peeved the wife, then i'll add to it...maybe the black wyches i have.....well they are also primered and have been for over two years...man I have so many that are just primer is very sad!! so i'll try my hand at the DARK ELDAR race!! Member Since: May 13, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Monday February 10, 2014 8:24 PM Impossible for me to post pics last week..nothing much done...plus I screwed up the head and had to strip it in a green-sonic bath...now it's redone but not great...but at this point with the amount of minis i have to paint i'll live with it...I had a birthday this weekend and now I basically have enough for a deamons army!! not sure if it's good enough to run with fantasy but enough for a 1500 40k army i think...no bother since i don't have a fantasy rule book or any deamons book....ok here's some pics of my Succubus! I really don't think i would ever want to be anywhere near a women like this...    SUCUBUS by dhstarwars, on Flickr wish I had a good camera...but this time i'll bring it to the office and get the art director to pop some good pics to make sure you guys get a better view of it...Sorry Mario that wasn't able to get good pics for the Heldrake no time before the deadline! my based sucked anyway...and man those models he picked were the cream of the crop for sure!! Member Since: May 13, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday February 20, 2014 10:48 PM sorry no pic updates….my iritis came back in full effect last Tuesday…anyway i'm trying to work through it….the meds make my right eye blur, it dilates my eye to relax the stressing …so i'm painting very slowly through a bit of pain to get what little work i've been doing … bottom line is what I could do in less than an hour is taking like 4 hours…i'm having fixing mistakes (due to bad depth perception) and having to take breaks to avoid the eye flare up…. it hasn't been this bad in about 2 years….but i've been making progress her…I painted the runes on the armor tonight and need to fix the mess-ups tomorrow…. i'm hoping to have her done this weekend if no "honey dos" once again impede my process… I have Iritis due to having ankylosing spondylitis ….basically arthritis….oh pain…it's an every day thing! you should NOT try it…peace |
