Khonner | March 2014 Paint Threat - Reaper Bones Fire Giant Warrior - COMPLETE |
Member Since: December 12, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Sunday March 2, 2014 5:14 PM I had a hard time trying to decide which mini to do for my March threat. So I let my better half make the choice and she grabbed this guy. A Reaper Bones Fire Giant Warrior. This will be the first of the Bones series that I have painted and since I'm expecting a whole ton of them this November, it seemed like a good time to start. I managed to get him primed up and might do more airbrush work with this one. He has 2 morning star looking things that attach to his belt, so I will put them on once I get the major parts done. Good luck to everyone who jumps into the threat this month! Khonner [[Edited by Khonner on Wednesday March 26, 2014 11:32 PM]] |

His sword was really bent, but a few seconds in hot water and I managed to straighten it out pretty good. I heard that you can just paint the bones, but from what I read online, priming them won't hurt them. We will have to see.. I'm looking forward to using the airbrush more. Hopefully that comes out good. |

I've not tried that technique but I hear it's a real time saver. Looking forward to seeing the results.
