 Member Since: October 18, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Monday March 3, 2014 8:26 AM Had to change my threat, the sword on the termie is something I don't feel like dealing with just this moment when my paint queue is so big anyways and the only reason I was painting that squad just now is that I randomly felt like it. I have a longer deadline on these though, thank goodness, so I've started on the terminators first. Of course, this model came in the DV box in excellent condition. Thanks GW, definitely the best plastic models in the world: I've opened something like 100 DV boxes and even more IOB boxes, so I happen to know that this is, sadly, far from rare. One DV box in particular came with a mauled rule book and most of the bits of one of the sprues forcefully broken away. It wasn't pretty. You never know what you're going to get when you buy one of those boxes. On a completely different topic, I am going to be a sponsor for this year's Brawler Bash VII GT in Durham, NC. =) |

Last time I had to bring something back to GW owing to it being sold with something wrong, I was just a kid. I got a little bit of 'just convert your way out of trouble' but I stuck to my guns and they sorted it. But that was like 15 years ago. Anyone any experience recently, good or bad? Member Since: October 18, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Saturday March 15, 2014 7:18 PM Well I haven't been as good about posting WIP shots this month as I try to be, but here's an update!I finished the two Prince on Griffons today. First is a shot of their bases, which is what I did today.  And then the two on their bases:  One of these is going to go sit in a display case in my FLGS tomorrow, and the other will be for sale as soon as I get decent pictures. Next up are the hydras! I actually only threatened one, but I am painting two. One is for my FLGS Atomic Empire, and the other will be for sale. I'm still debating what to do with the bases for the hydras - either swampy or rocky ground. |
