ARO stands for Automatic Reaction order and allows you to react to enemy fire and movement when it isn't your turn to activate if you can see the if you can see them moving and firing. It also uses D20 dice system instead of d6 which i much prefer. At most you are only ever rolling about 3-5 dice at a time. Only negative (if you see it as a negative) is you need a very terrain dense table with multiple levels and quite a few objective markers. You can do it on the cheap using stacking tupperware containers and dvd cases to create levels on your table but its quite expensive to get a nice looking table. Microarts has some great infinity buildings. Miniatures are relatively cheap as you don't need very many. They have some suggested 300 point lists which is the tournament standard on their site, all of which are under $140 US. I have about 650 points of Haqqislam after I place my next order and it has cost me less than $300. Fancy Demo Armies Great thing for me is I also like the kill team and city fight rule sets for 40k and I can use the infinity table im building for both games. Infinity is about the same scale. They also have some great intro videos done by the manufacturer, Corvus Belli, of the game on youtube if you want to see how the rule set works. It's far more complex and tactical than 40k which I like but I still enjoy 40k when I want to go out and chuck a pile of dice. Free army builder software on their website and free rulebook without all the fluff are really helpful as well if you are looking to get into the game. Even if you aren't looking to play it I would highly recommend getting a starter box to paint. They are only about $40 US for 6 minis but the minis are amazing. |

My last month was Infinity PanOceania Jeanne D'Arc 2.0 & Spec-Ops. I love this game and the ruleset, very original and keep both sides of the table active at all times. Good luck on your terrain. |

Loooooove that game. Probably my favorite. Good luck with your threat. An Infinity table is a lot of work (mine's not event done yet) so you got your hands full I'd say. |

Member Since: May 10, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday March 6, 2014 11:14 AM Im trying to sell everyone on infinity! Also the whole table is going to take a while but this month is just going to have some scatter terrain. Rubble piles, boxes, barrels and that kind of thing. Next month will have more miniatures and maybe a larger building |

The janissary is about 50% done now. djanbazan with the snipers base is done but only the green and a highlight on it have been done on the model. Will do some more work this week and update next weekend. Still a lot of work to go. |

I think a guy in the office plays this - I think I'm gonna have to check it out once I'm up and running with 40k - Good luck with the remainder of the threat!
