I've been mainly working on the R35 light tank. The R35 is mostly done main-colours wise. I airbrushed a mix of Air German Grey and model Basalt Grey onto the tank, to give a little bit of a highlight colour, with Nuln Oil in the recesses. Funny enough, it's a match to my hand-painted B2! I'll have to write that mix down for future reference...I've also decided to have a go with some Warlord Games transfers on the turret and rear armour. I applied a gloss varnish coaat to the area before applying, and after applying, and the transfers seemed to have gone on A-OK. Notice the PAnzerjager attachment behind the tank: that is my bonus! I've also been having a mess with GW's Typhus Corrosion, to weather the tank a little bit. It's early days, but I quite like the stuff. As well as the R35, I've started working on the Goliath team. Not much is different at the moment, as I've just started the team now Wish me further luck [[Edited by PowerArmouredMetal on Tuesday March 11, 2014 11:15 AM]] Power Armoured Metal: The Slash of 40k! Member Since: May 11, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday March 13, 2014 12:10 PM Thanks guys @Rustydice-Thanks I can either use it as a R35 light tank (in the back of the germany rulebook), though for most games I'll be using it as this... The Panzerjager R35! Counts as a normal panzerjager. The top half is custom made, and magnetised so I can swap between the R35's turret and the Panzerjager's supestructure It is a fun game. Much simpler than 40k and you can start an army with as little as £40 for a basic infantry set and armybook (could use tokens instead of dice). Using a basic boxset, you can easily make several squads, a HQ, and maybe even a couple of teams if you're clever Paint wise, the tank is done, I just need to add some pigments and give it a matte varnish. The Goliath team is also nearing completion. Just need to tidy up the details and add flock. I've also begun with on the Pioneers squad. Skin is done, and I'm about to shade the clothing. Member Since: August 28, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday March 13, 2014 3:53 PM Cool - one of the things I like the look of is the lower cost of entry than 40k - I've spent a small fortune and I'm still not quite there with a rules legal army.Local shop just started packing in the Bolt Action minis - will have to pick some up before too long! Member Since: May 11, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday March 13, 2014 5:40 PM It is good for the money. I want to start a Japanese force, but I don't know if I could stop with just one box of infantry and a Ho-Ro or a Chi-Nu [[Edited by PowerArmouredMetal on Thursday March 13, 2014 5:40 PM]] Power Armoured Metal: The Slash of 40k!
