 Member Since: December 8, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Tuesday March 11, 2014 5:49 AM So I finally took the plunge - after being back into the hobby for about two years, I figured it's time I finally got around to creating a Space Marine army...So far, here's what I've got:  Painted these bad boys up on Friday last week over the course of about ten hours  You can see my intended colour scheme. These guys are the Golden Liberators, and the primary colour is GW's Balthasar Gold. The current tactical Squad here is the first Tac Squad from the Second Company.And here's my threat for the rest of the month! It's a big undertaking for me, I've never painted so many in one month, but I'm giving myself the goal of getting these guys done!  That'll give me two full Tac squads, some assault marines and some termies. That's the paint threat! I'd also appreciate any tips on what I should look to purchase next. A Rhino? A drop pod? About five hours of assembly, due to all the mould lines you'd expect from a 2004 kit. Also, pinned the legs to the bases since the join is tiny. |

Gonna assemble the Tac squad during the week and hopefully get them painted over the next weekend.Incidentally, was my threat in time this month? I guess it depends on time zones. I hope I got mine in in time but I only managed to get to the computer at the last second |
