Lots of stuff to do. I know it's only one model for this month but it's all I currently have time for. Will post progress pictures when I get my new phone/camera next week. |

Needs wear and tear, highlights, eyes... more layers... more tone etc. ...need better camera. [[Edited by McDarkBeer on Friday June 28, 2013 6:00 PM]] |

Member Since: May 15, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Wednesday July 3, 2013 6:33 PM Hey so I finished the Defender. It's not the best but I'm happy with it for now. I think I should start using alcohol instead of just water for the pigments though, it's a bit irritating that the gloss coat dissolves it so much.Anyways! Enjoy! July paint threat complete! I wonder if I should finish off some gun mages or a centurion next... Decisions, decisions! Any suggestions? ps - sorry for my shitty camera. Was supposed to get a new phone 2 days ago but UPS is giving me the run-around. So screw UPS! >_< |

That said, it does give it a fresh off the wet muddy battlefield look.We can seldom get our children to do what we tell them, but they almost never fail to imitate us. |

Member Since: May 15, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday July 4, 2013 12:27 PM Yeah, that's the idea really. I usually run with a bunch of trenchers, who are all very, very dirty in the muddy trenches. When my army is complete I'll take a proper picture of the whole lot together. Still not sure if I should be painting gun mages or the centurion next though. |

Member Since: May 15, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Saturday July 6, 2013 9:20 PM So I put the centurion together and gave it a black coat... then I decided to scratch it up a bit and put some dents and scratches into the armor. More battle damage will of course come out of the painting stage but it has some pretty big divets and bumps in it already that I can work around... |
