 Member Since: May 15, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Saturday August 3, 2013 3:17 AM I'm in with a Rackham mini from their Confrontation line, Garrell the Redeemer ... haven't done any painting for a while and time is limited so I'll start the threat with a single figure and hope to squeeze another one in later lol  In the metal pics :- Put 'em in the PUBLIC section of Dropbox you dolt!!! Ah that's better  And primed ...   Now what colours to use ..... Decided to go for a red/brown leather look for the main coat and a purple-ish undersuit with gun metal and blue details Paints were GW black primer with a GW white primer overspray Vallejo Game Colour dark brown - proper name came off the label ages ago lol - highlighted with GW Foundation mechrite red GW Foundation tallarn flesh GW Foundation hormagaunt purple highlighted with Vallejo Game Colour azul glacier Vallejo Model Air gun Vallejo Panzer Aces periscopes also highlighted with Vallejo Game Colour azul glacier Et voila ... not massively happy with him, didn't spot an awful mold line until well into the paint job and the wash has pooled a bit, still onwards and upwards Completed pics at the end of the thread [[Edited by Kane856 on Saturday August 31, 2013 5:12 AM]] |

Lessons learned were "CLEAN THE FREAKING MOULD LINES OFF YOU ARSE" and the more you practice the better!The main aim on this mini was to have the coat looking like a worn dark red leather which hasn't come off with the shades I used but it's not too bad     Now to find a September Threat  [[Edited by Kane856 on Saturday August 31, 2013 3:40 AM]] |
