 Member Since: August 3, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Monday September 2, 2013 10:54 PM I have a few Ork pieces that need some finishing.I was trying to decide what to do for this months threat, what to buy next... Then I looked at what I've spent in this first year and holy cow! So no more new minis till I get what I have done. That's a personal threat before my wife finds out and turns it into a completely different threat... These have all been started months ago, nothing is finished and nothing is past base coats. Bits of the big Mek are done, but the entire model isn't base coated yet. Anyway, this is my threat big Mek with CFF, Ork truck, Three whirly birds and a Nob with power claw. If these get done then I'll start to finish the Nobs and then the boys.... Member Since: August 3, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Wednesday September 4, 2013 6:22 PM Almost done with the Mek.Got to work on this skin, I screwed up and used the wrong green as my mid highlight. I need to get/make a dark green wash and work the colors, or just start over with a base green and go on... Also just need to finish some weathering, but that is at the end. The powder on the base was more a test,, I should have waited... ah making mistakes.  |

As Iron Horse said the close ups are not flattering, remember you are looking for mistakes, mold lines, brush marks, etc, not using it to check your blending. I've got all the base colors on the trukk, had to remove some of the pieces to paint it all. And now I am like 99% done with the wash. Next I will go back and apply the metal to highlight worn active areas. I have still to complete the driver and the gunner which are still mostly primer.  |
