I just couldn't get it on there such that I could trust it to actually look good, so I just ended up doing it freehand. [[Edited by mdbgx2 on Saturday October 12, 2013 1:07 PM]] |

Figure is coming along nicely. What colors have you used for the skin?Looking very natural, always been a problem area for me.Sarge "If you ain't CAV, you ain't!!" |

Tanned shadow is the highlight. Walnut brown is the shadow color. Since the paint is translucent, the color beneath shows through and the highlight doesn't end up as bright as the paint used for it...this is why I'm not a fan of just using Reaper triads, they just don't step up and down enough for good contrast. I am, however, a big fan of Reaper skin colors in general. Most of the skin triads put together (leaving out the un-natural tones) form a larger range where you can start at any point, not just "dark skin" or "tanned skin," and step up and down as necessary. |
