Halloween sophie in cat costume. Bones red dragon that I am doing for my brother for his birthday later this month. Member Since: May 16, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday October 3, 2013 9:58 PM Ok got some stuff done. Tried preshading and Minitaire ghost tints on the dragon... The blood red was more of a pink and I ddin't want long enough before putting on the magenta which was at least more red but I think I can work with it. It is still very much a work in progress and currently it is very glossy from the ghost tint.Pumpkin base coated for Sophie. Ghost mouseling mainly base coated and a light wash applied. My girls worked on a glade rider and an ork and they are in the group short just cause.  Got the Indian mouseling done though. Still need to seal it but I'm going to give it a day for everything to set fully. And I might play with the feather a bit more.And yes thanks to the ghost tint I effectively have nail polish on my thumb lol. It is definatly workable Sarge just need to hit it with a mat coat and give it a glaze with a solid red and I should be golden. Chest plates and undersides of the wings I'm doing in more of a sand/cream tone anyways.I really like the Mouselings. They are a lot of fun to paint and relatively quick to get a good look. The wife loves them though and convinced me to get every one we could find. I think I have about 50 of the little buggers kicking aroung. Only a handful are painted. |
