 Member Since: May 12, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Wednesday October 2, 2013 5:47 AM Now that I am finally moved and settled in I can work on models/minis again. So for my October painting challenge I'm going to attempt 2 Grey Knights. A Grey Knight with a pair of Falchions, and Grey Knight Justicar (I hope its the Justicar, since the instructions don't really tell the difference between the Justicar and the Knight of the Flame.) *edit* finally finding some information, if it a Purifier squad, its a Knight of the Flame..but from what I can find, that's an ability/point thing not necessarily a mini issue, and since he'll be wielding the correct weapon, its all good. *edit* I'm working towards the Purifier Squad. Member Since: May 12, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Wednesday October 9, 2013 4:50 AM *shakes fists at GW* arrgghhh..the 2 minis I'm painting have the same left arm piece, and there is only one of that type on the trees. I figured out a secondary left arm, but frak. Knowing this I went and looked at the others..and 2 of the other minis I want to build up later have the same issue, but it appears that there is alternatives to that too. I swear I spent 5 minutes looking for one piece..and I only have two sprue trees. Pictures later tomorrow, since its almost 3am.. *thud* |

Though I have one mini put together, which was a pain, I ended up having to find an arm that would work with the pose they show on the box and the instructions were crap. I will try to get pictures up soon. |

Member Since: May 12, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Monday October 28, 2013 5:04 PM   Finally some pictures, though I do have some more paint on them now, Though, I just experienced why a cheap air brush isn't always good. I have a Harbor Freight $20 dual action one, well its a single action now, barely using it, the trigger messes up, now I can spray paint, but its pretty much air or no air, so, just basic airbrushing for me since I have no air control, I get what I pay for I guess, so until I am employed, it will just have to do. I'm really hoping I can finish these in the next 3 days... *crosses fingers* |
