![]() Member Since: August 28, 2013 ![]() RK: 1 MP: 0 ![]() ![]() | Saturday November 23, 2013 7:52 AM Hi guys, Quick up date - the weapons are more or less done with detailing and are ready for weathering etc etc, well - right after I put a matt varnish on top to help seal in the decals and protect the blue paint (again the Vallejo model air seems to be prone to chipping when I use them...probably doing something wrong but I can't spot what it is yet. Might try switching to undercoating the next threat using paint from a spray can to see if the paint sticks better to it...we'll see I used a mixture of GW and Vallejo paints and all the detailing was done with a '0' paint brush. ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/92359999@N06/ The body of the Dreadnought is more or less as it was on my previous update and so is the base. Going to try and get the metallic work done on the body using regular paint brushing. If i can get this done over the next few hours, I think I'll be in fairly good shape for completing this months threat. Again thanks for the comments and support!
