 Member Since: August 3, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Monday November 4, 2013 12:28 PM Here we go again with a small threat for this month. This time around it's 3 models from Privateer Press' Cygnar line. First, Mister Golden Boy himself, Stryker1 (alternate sculpt). Then 2 more Solos: Captain Murdoch and a female Journeyman Warcaster ("Journeywoman"?)  I've got a tough commission coming in November that will require a whole lot of painting time and will probably bust the end of the month deadline, so I'll play it safe with those 3 clowns in the time being. The Golden Boy's mentor, Nemo3, and his aide, young lady Whatsherface. So one more Warcaster and one more Solo.  Blue & gold armor almost finished. Same for coats & skirts. Base coat mostly done everywhere else... Now it's time for the fun part!!! |

I like painting blue, it's a color I'm at ease with... it gives a nice break from white in any case  Here's the group, front pic  Back pic  And that's not all! Here are the 2 bases for Nemo3 and his aide. I was loosely inspired by Hugo's recent "verdigris tutorial" on Ichiban Painting Studio YouTube channel (check it out here) and decided to add some verdigris on the aide's base.
