I just picked these guys up, went to my LGS for some paint supplies and saw them, who can resist a Pygmy Troll in a bowler and chumping on a cigar...not me. After last months performance, not my best, I hope to get the Juju back with these guys. So as usual, BRING IT ON PUPPY DOGS! LET'S PAINT!!! Sarge "If you ain't CAV, you ain't!!" |

Member Since: May 10, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Wednesday December 4, 2013 12:13 PM Had a little hobby time this morning. So, I have them cleaned of mold lines, washed, and put together for the most part. Will have to some parts seperately, as I need to get the details painted first. I got a bit ahead of myself and started to clip the small parts off before I realized they needed to added later. Really liking these guys, so should be fun to paint. Not sure when I can prime them, we have a Winter storm moving in and may be a few days before I can go outside to prime, really need an airbrush. Member Since: May 10, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday December 5, 2013 12:09 AM Didn't have to work as late as I thought, and we are going to have a pretty major storm move in tomorrow and Friday, temps will stay in the 30's for the next week. So, i decided to get these guys primed tonight, and did. So, I can start painting them week, I hope, if the power doesn't go out. Expecting 1/4 to 1/2 inches of ice between tomorrow and Friday, sounds like fun. I did notice a few mold lines that I missed, so will clean them up, arrrg hate mold lines! Driving in those conditions scares me to death (mostly because of the other drivers acting like there is no reason not to speed along and tailgate like they normally do!), also I fractured my ankle during one last February... I hope the storm isn't too bad for you. Where are you located? Also, I really love those models. They have a lot of character! |
