Of course, there is the Chapterhouse conversion kit which would make the overall look closer, but also make the price close enough that it'd be worth it to just get the Forge World kit in my opinion. Anyway, what do you guys think? |

It's far too small as standard, is about 1/2 the size it needs to be to be a storm Eagle (considering it has a very big transport capacity) and you know what some people will be like. You also need space to fit the Vengeance launcher and remove the top turret. To make it bigger for a low cost, make a plasticard extension. Costs probably 80p/£1 for a sheet of plasticard, and you can trace the extension edges using the side panels of the Storm Raven. I did that on my Chaos Storm Eagle (below). Extended the hull by about 2/2.5" and that seemed to work well, all for a low cost ![]() ![]() Power Armoured Metal: The Slash of 40k! Though as an assault vehicle, it might be good for delivering a Terminator death squad. It would certainly be able to clear the way and support better than a drop pod!General consensus seems to agree with you that an unmodified Stormraven is not a permanent solution, some say the same even of a modified Stormraven. I do really like the Storm Eagle kit. Guess I'll save up for it, maybe that'll make it easier for SWMBO to deal with! |

I'd like to find a size comparison between a Storm Eagle, and a Stormraven with the Chapterhouse kit.SWMBO = She Who Must Be Obeyed, a.k.a. The Wife. |
