Did you consider adding drawers under the side over hangs at all? Looking forward to seeing your felt boards and shelving units. Again, really liked the layout and convenience of just putting onto a folding table. |

I had about $75 worth of wood and drywall screws invested. The table I got from Lowes for $40, as it was marked down due to some small scratches brought on by a box cutter when they pulled it out of the box. $115 total plus time invested.. I have plans to add a cover for board games or RPG sessions. I'll work on that later this summer. My YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/EngineerJeff?feature=watch |

Member Since: May 15, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Monday May 20, 2013 8:15 AM You don't need much. A wood saw (arguable actually, cause most DIY home improvement stores with cut the boards you want to length), a screw driver, something to spread wood putty (an old credit card or solid cardboard will do it), a tape measure. The rest is just elbow grease, skull sweat, and the materials (some 2x4s, plywood, wood putty, sandpaper, glue, and cloth.) Can you do it with a lot more in the shop? Sure. But, the best tool in the world won't help if you don't have a clue with how to use it. If you've never done any woodworking at all, it might not be a nice as Jeff's, but that shouldn't stop you either. Was your first mini the best paint job you've done?
