Seems to work quite well, found if you trail some from the point your painting it looks very oozy! Hope you guys enjoy and thank you for the kind words so far, few bits and pieces and then onto the bases! P.S just noticed that bloody mould line!! |

Managed to get some time today to base the Marines. Used the Secret Weapon basing kit, took some time working out the correct mix. Still not overly happy with the results but its not horrendous for a first attempt. Sorry for the poor image quality, if I manage to do a threat next month I'll dig out the camera. These are the first minis I've painted in 10 years certain things I'd do differently on the next batch so I've learnt something. Hope you like them, please feel free to critique it all helps me in the long run. |

The ooze on the shoulder pads is the new Nurgles Rot technical paint, which works really well I was pleasantly surprised. The toxic looking stuff on the base is some real water effect and a secret weapon wash mixed together the wash is called Fallout.I was just going to leave plain bases but I had this and couldn't resist adds a little colour as the overall model is rather muted. |
