A few more little bits and pieces, the base, and he should be done.  The Stormtalon is also coming along pretty well, and I started the simple weathering this morning. Hopefully more soon, I'm pretty certain I'll be able to complete the threat in time. |

Member Since: May 16, 2013 RK: 1 MP: 0 | Monday December 30, 2013 7:29 PM And I'm finished. My wife and I had a killer stomach flu over the weekend, so I was nervous I wasn't going to make it. The Stormtalon was fun. I made the canopy almost a little too grungy, but overall I like it.  I learned more about weathering, too. And then there's the Captain:  The lighting's not great, but I'm pretty happy with the paint job I did on the tabard.  I switched away from GW gold metallics and moved to Vallejo gold metallics, and I won't be going back. I'm still using GW silver metallics, though.  I'm not super happy with the power sword, but I'm pretty happy with the cape. Hopefully I'll get my lightbox set up soon, so I can take better photos next time. |
