 Member Since: August 28, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Saturday February 1, 2014 9:01 AM Ready to add a Heavy Support choice and my first pick is going to be a Predator. Load out will be Auto-cannon and Heavy Bolters but I'll look into being able to swap out the other weapon combos - can't say I can do it until I get a closer look at the kit Also gonna roll last months bonus into this month as a side project. They're about 80% done at the moment, mostly the base detail painting to do. Hardly - It was following your threat and great results that gave me the push to go ahead and give it a tryI can't say I'm getting 'good' results, just results I'm happy with. If I'm able to paint anything at all it's because I've copied over the shoulders of giants - lots of tutorials on YouTube from WGC producers and scale modelers is the perfect resource. I just watch a few of them, make notes on the things I like and have a crack at it. Even still, I normally have to strip and re-do everything at least once >,< Will be making a start on this soon enough, will post lots of pics! LOL Joking, but the painted on weathering is new for me so if there is something you wanted to know how I did or just want to know pitfalls hit me up!!I normally use the salt mask/hairspray method and love the results but that one was using sponge and brush. Secret weapon washes and oil washes are always used too... |

It's gonna be a looooong journey but it's gonna be a load of fun on the way -Once I've my 1500pts done I think I'm going to make a start on an 'enemy' force for them....wonder what i'll go for....hmmm.
