Everyday the mountain grows and the oceans swell but there will never be enough.Thanks for the support bros I've been sick recently but have made a start on the bases  One is a sculpted base which I intended for the Herald, I hadn't realised he came with his own sculpted base because I'm an idiot! So the posh base will go to my champ or something. Obviously, the idea is for these bases to look like a bit of Khorne's realm with a brassy look and some blood, bones and skulls to taste! Cheers! |

Super quick product review: I really like the assembled Bloodletters BUT..... they're a bit of a pain to put together and more importantly there's very little option-wise to assemble them differently. If you were going to horde them they'd look very samey. I know this is from a someone with monopose Empire spearmen but at least with the modern Empire kits there's a lot of variety. Still, we'll see how it goes! The banner options do look awesome and I'll do one of them in the second block of 5 biffs! |

I'm afraid I shamelessly stole it from a battle report I watched on OnceBitten's channel on Youtube!Here's my herald, I still need to do the skulls hanging off him and his base. Also, his sword is a tiny bit bent which is a massive pain and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to stay straight!   I tried to blend a bit on the horns after reading a tutorial, it looks a bit coarse but what can you do. I'm trying to have this guy done and half the bloodletters close to finished by the end of the weekend. Best laid plans etc. but I'm trying to break it into chunks and milestones. I know without joining the threat each month, I would never get any where near as many figures painted as I have. i also believe my skill level has gone up, as has my confidence in doing something I haven't done before. Your threat is looking very good so far, the bases are pretty damn cool looking. Just remember that you are your own worse critic, plenty of mins I thought sucked, but the puppy dogs here loved, just do the best you can, have fn, and learn. Sarge "If you ain't CAV, you ain't!!" |
