Member Since: May 7, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Tuesday August 6, 2013 9:03 AM Hello and I am back, well sort of.If you are into the whole on-line presence/hangout/conversation thing, you may have noticed I have fallen off the grid. My youtube channel has been idle for, I don't know, maybe around 2 - 3 months. I have not been accepting any invites to anything or going on to watch live shows. Heck, I even stopped looking at the MWG and WGC sites all together and even stopped painting, hobbying, and etc. Why? The answer is a complicated one to answer. I will say that I was just fed up with everything and needed a long hiatus from everything to focus on my other interests. Like many of you will contest, being focused on one thing for a period of time is unhealthy and will break your sanity, your love for the hobby. Am I back now? Well, sort of, I have been painting, slowly, and putting things together here and there but have lost all of my interest in making videos for now. I will post some random show cases of when I actually finish a model but that's about it. I still won't be joining hangout daily as I used to because I have found that there is just too many things to do in a day at the moment. What I may do I just pop in to say hello, hang for a bit, and leave. Maybe even joining in once or twice per week but again we will see. If you want to know more about what is what or why things has happened or not happened, I may make a video about it but that is a long shot for now. Here are some of the things, one thing, I have done in my long hiatus. What I found out while painting Rok was that Liquitex Matte Vanish actually dulls down the color, especially white. The highlights on his skin is almost completely blended in, leaving no hash white patches which were there before the vanish. It is pretty neat how it can just fix a problem with over highlighting with white or bright colors. I also plan to use maybe a greenish blueish pigment to blend the shadows with the skin even more. We will see though [[Edited by lazypug on Tuesday August 6, 2013 9:12 AM]] - Fear thy Howl, Fear thy Fang, Fear thy Pug - |

So I stripped all of them but couldn't go through with it and I began repainting them! Dont really like how dull this one came out and may strip him down again. Moving on to some other stuff for the mean time - Fear thy Howl, Fear thy Fang, Fear thy Pug - |

Member Since: May 7, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Monday November 25, 2013 11:13 AM I have been extremely caught up at work and have not had a chance to paint in long sessions. I still have plenty to paint and decided more dedication is needed to finish them. That is why I decided to make a weekly vlog about it. Since time is really an issue and I wanted something that would maintain activity on both in forums and my channel, a weekly Vlog makes sense. Here is the first of hopefully many to come and I will try to get some pictures to accommodate my posts for future vlogs. For now though, I do apologize for forcing you to watch a video about. - Fear thy Howl, Fear thy Fang, Fear thy Pug - |

Member Since: May 7, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Saturday December 7, 2013 3:29 PM I recently got a Second hand Mauler which was poorly constructed with a couple bottles of super glue.Simple green did nothing to it so..... AN ACETONE BATH!!! After a couple of hours because why not, No matter how much super glue was used, Acetone can fix it all! - Fear thy Howl, Fear thy Fang, Fear thy Pug - |
