It's really motivating to know I'm not the only one that likes what I'm doing!Today I worked on Kagunk some more. First I increased the contrast in his skin. I like it a lot better now. I also did some of the details in his face. Then I did his earrings in VMC Brass, which somehow lead to dry brushing his chain mail in brass as well. I really like it. He was begging for something different. After the dry brushing it became obvious that those leather straps just had to be black highlighted to red. I'm not done with them yet, I need to put some of the black back in them. On a different, but related, topic...this paint rack is the awesomeness that my hubby did for me this past weekend: It's amazing what a difference it makes in my ability to paint. I don't have to have my workspace covered in paints anymore, and I can reach straight for what I need without searching and put it back in its place. That speeds things up more that I realized it would... The shelves are from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VN31JO/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. |

Maybe this weekend I will have a chance to get out my real camera and take some decent pictures. I have a lot of models that are waiting for pics including a few I'm selling. Here's Kagunk now: |

Member Since: September 7, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Thursday September 12, 2013 12:19 AM Kagunk has Liquitex satin varnish. I put on a coat after each painting session. That reaper paint I've been using just rubs right off while I work. |
