I don't think it's too bad, but it's not what I was planning... I think I'll sleep on it and decide if it's going into the pickle tank for a dip and strip. But I donno, what do you guys think? Member Since: August 28, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Monday January 13, 2014 12:52 PM Dipped and stripped - I had a root through some old paints at the hobby store on the way home from work and found some Tamiya Colour metallic paints X-13 Metallic Blue XF-16 Flat Aluminum (Aluminium) X-11 Chrome Silver which I think will do better than the paints I've been using to get the effect I want. BUT cos they're tamiya paints they work best over a primer from a spray can (in my experience at least) to adhere best. So I need to take it outdoors and spray paint it with grey primer which means i need a window of clear dry weather...in winter...in Ireland...>,< RD Scientists study the world as it is; Engineers create the world that has never been. ~Theodore von Karman |

You could totally just bring everything you need to spray and do it here. I know I have a lot of models that are waiting for that weather that just wont come |
