Managed to get a few short sessions in, have the long coat and bandana done, will be doing the backpack next.Right on schedule for now, looks like work is getting back to normal, so might get more painting time in. Will, have to go to my local Home Depot/Lowes and see what I can come up with, thanks for the idea.Sarge "If you ain't CAV, you ain't!!" |

Member Since: May 10, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Wednesday January 8, 2014 9:43 PM I used Aluminum channel and YES it was very durable. Even with Vinyl its made to withstand 10+ years of outdoor use with wind rain and sun so Im sure it will withstand paint bottles. I WILL say use something more durable that Luan though as that was the weakest link with my setup. MDF or chipboard should be more than enough to be durable and its only mildly more expensive. this was a quick thrown together project I did and by all means expand on it. Im making another rig here for my new house and I plan to do something VERY similar. I will make it out of more durable items but the design will be the same. |

You use what works and what looks good! Speaking of looking good, that looks mighty solid there Sarge. Really liking how this is looking so far. |
