First of all, thanks a lot for the great comments guys. I did bust my *** off on this model and I like the result (time well wasted!) We had a photoshoot session last night at my friend's place. He's a way better photograph than me, so it was my best shot at getting pictures that will be close to the actual, "live" result. Of course, his usual backdrop setups couldn't be used as the model was too big, so we improvised.  Final pictures should be online soon. |

I think one reason I don't get into the, "commission", side of the hobby, is I too would find it hard to let go of something I put that much work into. Ok, all joking aside, this model is over. Here are the final pictures!      I've run into a couple of problems at the end. Namely some frakking FROSTING of the satin varnish (y u do dis, Mr Varnish?!?) and the PVA glue leaving a white residue after drying (ah, c'mon !). So I had to repair some damage until the very, bitter end. Oh well, it's done now. You're right Sarge, I feel a bit sad to see it go away afer putting that much work into it, but such is life. You could say I closed the deal just in time, the client will use this model during Templecon next week (that's the only part I'm a wee bit disappointed about: I'll be in Templecon, this MK will be in Templecon, but I won't be able to submit this specific model in the Crystal Brush Qualifier painting competition because the client wants to run it in a tournament that overlaps the competition's deadline for model entry... curses!!) Also I kinda burnt myself a bit this month. Rest assured I'm going to take it easy in Febuary. Will try, anyway! Again (one last time), thanks for the support ! N.B.
