Member Since: May 13, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Wednesday June 19, 2013 2:28 AM No, I don't like to be trendy xDI'm not sure If I want something on the face, I kind of like that emptyness felling coming from that black surface (a really dark grey in reality). Last night I gloss coated him to get him ready for an oil wash so I'll see how the head turn out after a bit of real black was applied in the recesses. I'll problably push the blue/grey hightlights I already done on the face a bit more to the blue side of the spectrum after that (also on all the other "black" surfaces). I also don't like the idea of putting a decal on the face, I'll probably put one on the crotch schield and on one of the shoulder guards |

Member Since: May 13, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Saturday June 22, 2013 3:02 AM OK guys, here is another update!In the last couple of days I oil-washed the big boy with a 1:2 mix of Ivory Black and Dioxazine Purple and here he is in all his messy glory: An hundred of q-tips later the washing process was done: Now I'm only left with a couple of highlights to touch up, complete the gems and finalise the base and then he is done! Do you guys think I should put some edge highlights in there? |

So I would say, yes for the edge highlights.We can seldom get our children to do what we tell them, but they almost never fail to imitate us. |

Today I finalized the highlights on the "black" areas and also put down some egde highlights Now I only need to gloss and matte coat him and then I can move on on the Hemlock Wraithfighter! |
